Therese Fagerqvist is a new collaboration manager at UU Innovation and she brings with her many years of experience in project management and process development.

Therese Fagerqvist joins UU Innovation from Region Uppsala, where she worked for almost five years as a coordinator responsible for several national development projects, most of which concerned infrastructure investments in health care to improve and simplify research on biobank tests.

She spent her years as a doctoral student at the Department of Public Health and Caring Sciences, Uppsala University, where she focused on studies of the properties and structure of aggregated proteins involved in various neurodegenerative diseases as well as characterization of selective monoclonal antibody for immunotherapy.

As a collaboration manager at UU Innovation, it is Therese’s job to support university researchers who wish to engage with non-academic organisations to facilitate innovation.

“With my research experience together with my project management skills, I look forward to contributing to UU Innovation's mission and operations,” says Therese.
