In this interactive workshop by UU Innovation we will introduce the NABC model and help you get started with using it. Our advisers are there to support you and provide feedback.

NABC stands for Need – Approach – Benefit – Competition. The NABC model originated in Stanford Research Institute (SRI) as a way to develop ideas for innovative projects. Its main focus is the value proposition: what is the added value of the idea for the client/customer – putting the audience in the heart of development.

Using the model will help you to bring clarity and to organise your ideas. Furthermore it's an excellent tool to use when preparing a short presentation of your idea or project - a presentation that will pique the curiosity of your audience and help you connect with people you want to meet.

This workshop suits all researchers at Uppsala University who are interested in creating additional value from their knowledge, from PhDs to senior researchers.
